Private family in Old Brookville, NY is looking to hire a Live-in Cook/ House Manager for their 10,000 square foot residence. The family has 2 children in college that sometimes come home on weekends and one child still living at home who will be going off to college this fall.
The job duties will include:
* Cooking
* Food ordering/pantry management
* Light housekeeping of the main residence and the guest cottage (Mother-in-law lives in the guest cottage)
* Overseeing once-weekly house cleaning and laundry staff
* Front door and package delivery management
* Occasional assistance with elderly mother-in -law
* Management/coordination of vacation staffing (animal assistance)
* Other light house management tasks
What Works Best for family: You must be tolerant of animals (they have four (friendly) dogs in the house, and macaws, chickens and peacocks on the grounds). Your living quarters are located on the 3rd floor of the main residence…so you must agile and be able to go up and down stairs.
