Job Summary
An Owner Operator is a self-employed driver who owns and operates their own vehicle — such as a Sprinter Van, Cargo Van, or Box Truck — to deliver freight for logistics companies or direct clients. Duties

• Freight Delivery: Pick up and transport cargo on local, regional, or nationwide routes.
• Vehicle Care: Maintain your vehicle through routine inspections, repairs, and cleaning.
• Route Optimization: Choose efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and save fuel.
• Regulatory Compliance: Follow DOT rules, safety procedures, and accurate log entries.
• Professional Communication: Coordinate clearly with dispatchers, brokers, and customers.
• Business Operations: Manage receipts, expenses, invoices, and operational documents.
• Cargo Safety: Load and secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle
• Proof of Commercial Liability Insurance
• Ownership of a Sprinter Van, Cargo Van, or Box Truck (16–26 ft)
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Experience in freight or delivery driving (preferred)
