Home Health Aide (HHA) – Home Health Care. Interim Delaware Interim Healthcare of Delaware is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) throughout the state of Delaware. Interim Healthcare of Delaware serves over 300 clients within their homes who need Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personal care and support. All our caregivers are offered as many cases as they wish to take on, working full-time or part-time throughout whichever area they are comfortable in travelling. For this position, you must have your own transportation. Weekends are needed, but not required. **This job is PRN; it means you only work when they need you. This is based on the cases we have available and the hours that are required for each case. You can pick up any case you qualify for if it is not filled already. BONUS: if you have weekend availability --HHAs receive $18/hr. for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday. Benefits of working with Interim Healthcare of Delaware:

Qualifications for Home Health Aides (HHA):

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license (Required)
• CPR certified.
• Negative TB test result
• Pass a background check.
• Provide two (2) professional references.
• Current HHA must provide proof of 75 hours of training (Home Health Aide Certificate)
• A minimum of six (6) months’ experience working as an HHA within the last five (5) years. Group home and private duty experience does not qualify.
• Meets the requirements of federal and/or state criminal and abuse background checks.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation to take clients to/from doctors’ appointments, run errands, etc.

• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Transfers (use of lifting devices when needed)
• Light Housekeeping
• Laundry
• Meal Prep
• Bed Making/Change Bed Linens
• Assist with ambulation.
