Job Description

About FieldWrk and our mission:

FieldWrk is a branding and marketing agency dedicated to serving the essential industries that build and support our society. We exist to help hardworking people and companies reach their full potential.

Partnering with companies in civil construction, design, engineering, waste management, energy infrastructure, mining, and other markets, we help our clients stand out and scale their business through branding, storytelling, and marketing that doesn’t just look good, but actually wrks.

Your mission as creative project manager, should you choose to accept it: To turn our client partners into raving fans — you'll help us deliver work they value AND an experience they want to talk about.

How you’ll help us in your role specifically:

  • Cultivate and strengthen our client partner relationships by clearly understanding their objectives, maintaining consistent communication, and delivering on expectations, ultimately fostering long-term partnerships that contribute to agency growth — and ultimately deliver incredible value to the clients we serve.
  • Oversee, wrangle, and manage project timelines and budgets by ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and under budget while proactively identifying and resolving potential roadblocks to maintain project efficiency.
  • Facilitate and foster effective collaboration across our internal creative teams to allocate resources, keep client needs top-of-mind, manage capacities, and ensure that workloads are balanced, promoting a smooth workflow and high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

What you will get to do day-to-day (key responsibilities):

  • Nurture and manage positive client relationships to establish long-term partnerships
  • Ensure project deliverables are on time, to spec, and on strategy for your clients
  • Build and maintain project timelines, statuses, and tasks within Monday.com
  • Route deliverables through the internal approval process from kickoff to delivery
  • Coordinate with potential clients throughout the sales process and assist with onboarding
  • Maintain documentation of internal and external project feedback and approvals
  • Be the communications hub between all team members that may touch an assigned project, including external resources (freelancers)
  • Review and/or help build creative briefs and work orders for new projects
  • Scope and quote potential projects for your clients or potential clients
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and delays or any other unusual situations and work with Director and other team leads to resolve
  • Monitor and report on budgets, cashflow, and deferred revenue for your clients
  • Work with PM team to allocate resources and manage internal team capacities
  • Coordinate team workshop travel and logistics for your client trips

The skills you possess:

  • 4+ years of account management or client-facing account and/or project management experience (creative agency preferred)
  • Excellent client management, expectation management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and creative services and workflows
  • Strong writing, grammatical, and proofing skills
  • Very proficient in operating project management software systems (ex: Monday.com)

You will have the best opportunity to succeed in this role if:

  • You have the ability to establish and foster positive and productive relationships with diverse personalities — you’re great at building rapport
  • You’re persuasive, resilient, and able to be firm with clients/team members when necessary
  • You’re a self-starter: Highly disciplined and self-motivated
  • You’re scrappy and curious: You find a way and iterate often.
  • You are always looking to improve processes and systems
  • You have a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy for others
  • You’re joyful and grounded: You get serious work done and can laugh while doing it.
  • You have a sense of urgency, prioritization, forward-thinking, and are detail-oriented
  • You’re highly proficient in G-Suite, Monday.com, and Slack
  • You have a strong desire to make a positive impact for hardworking industries and the clients we’re fortunate enough to serve
