CNC Machinist 

Trinity Employment Specialists-Tulsa, OK

Full Time | Starting Pay $19.50/ hour DOE

Hiring 3 Machinists for 1st, 2nd, 5th Shifts

• 1 st Shift - 7:00 am to 5:30 pm – Monday through Thursday optional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays
• Machining experience preferred but not required if the individual has a good working knowledge or experience in a manufacturing.
• 2nd Shift - 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.—Monday through Thursday with optional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays
• Machining experience required, a minimum of 3+ years. (+$1.00 shift differential)
• 5 th Shift - 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. – Friday through Sunday with 4 hours of comp time for a guaranteed 40 hours.
• Machining experience preferred but not required if the individual has a good working knowledge or experience in a manufacturing
• (+$2.50 shift differential)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load and unload parts from a CNC mill and lathe
• Inspect machined product
• Basic setup operations which include setting up fixtures, cutting tools and CNC programs
• Perform some deburr operations
• Basic preventive machine maintenance

Required Skills:

 

• Basic shop math - the ability to work with fractions and decimals
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Basic knowledge of deburr tools and methods
• Able to interact with computers and CNC controls at a basic level

High School Diploma

2 years experience

* Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
* Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
* Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
* Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers.
* Program computers or electronic instruments, such as numerically controlled machine tools.
* Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
* Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
* Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools.
* Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
