Job Description



AECOM  is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated  Traffic Engineering Inter n to be based in Denver, Colorado.

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and must have completed at least one year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Traffic Engineering focus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of CADD and industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation)
  • Strong organizational, technical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
