The Senior Intelligence Analyst, Americas is responsible for leading the monitoring of all-source information to proactively identify and assess risks and threats to the client within the Americas area of responsibility. Although the position is focused on the Americas, it will also require the analyst to periodically cover other regions in collaboration with EMEA and APAC analysts. The position requires superb verbal and written communication skills and extensive project management experience. A successful Senior Intelligence Analyst must possess strong regional subject matter expertise and is expected to demonstrate an understanding of regional nuances to include geopolitics, economics, physical security trends, supply chain vulnerabilities, and the regional or national personality of demonstrations and political activism. Familiarity with the impact and history of environmental risks for the Americas is very useful.
As a senior member of the Strategic Research and Analysis team, the analyst will support, mentor, and develop the skills and ability of junior analysts in intelligence collection and analysis. The position retains some supervisory responsibilities for analysts within the Americas region. This is a cross-functional role that partners closely with other corporate security teams, as well as Enterprise-focused business units. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Utilize experience in intelligence collection and analysis to guide others and prioritize collection requirements to identify and assess threats that could potentially impact the company’s global executives and business operations.
Ability to assess information quickly and accurately for credibility, relevance, and importance while also identifying information gaps and adjusting collection.
Serve as the subject matter expert for geopolitical, economic, and security developments in the Americas, including, but not limited to the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
Demonstrated ability to mentor analysts on best practices and analytical standards.
Produce timely, useful, and tailored intelligence reports and threat assessments.
Conduct assessments related to international security risks and challenges, such as political violence, crime, terrorism, customs/immigration, public health, information security, weather, government corruption, or poor infrastructure.
Conduct research on international locations where clients and their employees may visit. This information may include crime and safety risks, political stability, and travel safety with regards to hotels and event venues, local customs and courtesies, and transportation best practices.
Follow company procedures and processes as they relate to industry best practices and handling of confidential information.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with other business partners to effectively support their needs.
Travel to regional and global offices and events annually (<10%).
Required Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in political science, international affairs, economics, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
5-10 years of related experience providing intelligence or risk analysis with a focus on the Americas, including, but not limited to the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
The ability to read and speak Spanish is required for this position. Additional Portuguese language skills are beneficial.
Demonstrable experience managing the development of written analytical products, from ideation to publication.
Proven ability to be an outstanding colleague in an entrepreneurial setting.
Excellent writing and oral communications skills.
Experience of mentoring and supporting the development of junior analysts in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Experience working with highly confidential information.
Experience working with diverse partners.

The base salary range for this position in California is $95,000-$110,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162.
