ORGANIZATION : Citizen Care Inc.
DEPARTMENT : Facilities Management
POSITION : Maintenance Technician
STATUS : Full-Time; 40 hours / week
SCHEDULE : 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Monday through Friday; on-call, as assigned
LOCATION : Robinson Township
WAGES : $20.50/HR

Citizen Care Inc., a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.

Responsibilities:

The  Maintenance Technician  will be responsible for provide routine maintenance and fulfill work order requests to a designated amount of group homes and company sites. Responsibilities includes the maintenance and repairs of:

• Heating and Cooling systems
• Refrigeration
• Fresh and exhaust air
• Electrical system and devices
• Emergency power unit - weekly checks
• Fire alarm and detection system
• Plumbing system and devices
• Lighting system
• Vehicles
• Installation or removal of equipment
• Snow removal
• General building repairs; i.e., wall repairs and painting
• Communicate and complete work orders through electronic maintenance software

WAGES
$20.50 to start with raises included with years of service

CASH INCENTIVES

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School diploma or GED
2. Four (4) years experience in residential/commercial maintenance and proven experience in electrical, plumbing and general carpentry repairs
3. Must have a working knowledge to perform the duties noted above
4. Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
5. Ability to lift heavy objects without restriction
6. Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances

Minimum Compensation: USD $20.50/Hr. Maximum Compensation: USD $20.50/Hr.
