Backwoods Coffee in Fairbanks, AK is looking for a dedicated team member to join our strong team. We are located on 365 Fairhill Rd and 1780 Peger Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs and company policy/recipes
• Prepare hot and cold food in accordance with customer needs and company policy/recipes
• Handle money and balance the register
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Maintain clean and tidy personal hygiene
• Follow health and safety guidelines (Alaska food code, and company policies)
• Interact with customers regularly and professionally
• Maintain a positive and healthy work environment for customers and coworkers
• Complete daily and weekly tasks in a timely manor

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a barista is preferred but not required
• High integrity
• A great attendance record
• Reliable Transportation
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to adapt and find appropriate solutions quickly
• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older at time of interview, some positions/shifts applicants must be 18 year of age or older at time of start
