Amentum is seeking a 3D CAD Modeler to join our team providing parametric modeling in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Integrated Topside Design, which includes the creation and updates of 3D models of U.S. Navy ships, support of shipboard laser 3D scanning, and the development of models used in supporting Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) modeling and analysis.
Minimum Requirements and Skills:
Minimum of Three (3) years of 3D CAD experience performing parametric modeling with multiple software interfaces including Autodesk Inventor; Solidworks; Catia; and Pro-E.
Demonstrated experience that includes one or more of the following specific areas: Navy ship topside design standards, such as antenna numbering standards, importing existing CAD models into Autodesk Inventor format, developing models that will be used for electromagnetic simulations of radio frequency propagation involving shipboard antennas, generate and maintain 3D CAD models of U.S. Navy ships and other structure for use ITD and CEM analyses
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
