Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Assembler Ds for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs advanced, specialized or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies and subassemblies using automated assembly operations. May provide assembly operation guidance to other assemblers.
Systems performs removal/installation and functional test will test systems.
The training consists of a combination of instructor-led and web-based training. It includes classroom style and hands-on application to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the material.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o 15-20 years of experience
o Be on a "travel" team
o Aircraft maintenance
o Flight readiness
o A&P License (A&P is more of a hard preference rather than a requirement. Someone who has worked in the Aviation Industry could potentially not have their A&P but still be a good fit.)
o Experience with exterior panels, paint, sealant, ti-foil
o Experience with composite repair
o Knowledge of aircraft systems (power, hydraulics, IFE (in-flight entertainment), troubleshooting

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
-Experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications
-Computer literacy
-If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.
-Regular and predictable attendance is required.

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 15-20 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.). Education must be accredited.

WORK HOURS: MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT.
PER CLIENT: Please note - These positions are variable shifts, contractors must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift dependent on business need.
