Windows Security Researcher

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD 
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Security Researcher to join a specialized team conducting advanced security research on Windows technologies. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in vulnerability research , a deep understanding of the Windows kernel and device drivers , and the ability to write proof-of-concept code in C, Python, and Assembly. This role requires strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with both researchers and developers to identify and demonstrate vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field AND six (6) years of experience

  • OR ten (10) years of relevant experience without a degree

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience programming with object-oriented languages

• Minimum five (5) years developing either:

  • Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET , OR

  • UNIX applications using make files or similar build environments

• Minimum three (3) years of experience leading complex software development projects, including configuration management and fostering a collaborative development environment

Technical Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Windows kernel and device drivers

• Experience reading and writing assembly (x86/x64)

• Extensive experience with debuggers such as WinDBG

• Strong programming skills in C, Python, and Assembly

• Proven experience collaborating closely with researchers and software developers
