Job Description

NOLA Protection Group   a leader in professional security services in the New Orleans and surrounding area is currently accepting applications for the role of a Traffic Control Officer at the Erato Cruise Terminal. We are responsible for directing traffic for the cruise ship terminal.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of ti me
• Must be able Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Direct heavy traffic entering cruise ship terminal 
• Direct cruise ship passengers to parking terminal
• Great communication skills & Provide customer service
• Able to work under pressure 

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police
• Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training
• Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Must have a professional appearance
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must have open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid driver’s license or Valid photo ID
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience not required, but preferred
