Now Hiring: Sales & Use Tax Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Use Tax Analyst to join our dynamic tax team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, focusing on analyzing and preparing multi-state sales and use tax returns.
Responsibilities:
+ Analyze and prepare sales and use tax returns.
+ Conduct monthly analysis of fleet truck sales, including resale and out-of-state transactions.
+ Work with multiple states to ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations.
+ Collaborate with the sales and use tax team to support tax-related tasks and projects.
Essential Skills:
+ 2+ years of sales & use tax experience.
+ High level of proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
+ Experience with Workday and AS400 is beneficial.
+ Familiarity with Bloomberg tax, Onesource, and Sage for fixed assets is a plus.
+ Experience with corporate tax return forms, such as Form 1120, is advantageous.
+ New graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of experience are welcome.
Work Environment:
Join a flexible team of seven individuals, offering a supportive and engaging work environment. Enjoy the convenience of a hybrid work schedule with two remote workdays to start, potentially increasing to three. Office hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The workplace features an onsite cafeteria and gym, with opportunities for team outings, such as picnics and baseball games. The next career step could be a Sr. Accountant role, requiring 5-7 years of experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
