Frichette Winery, a family-owned winery on Red Mountain in Washington, is seeking a Wine Edutainer I to provide exceptional hospitality and drive sales in their tasting room. This role focuses on creating a memorable experience for guests by sharing the winery's story and passion for wine, ultimately leading to increased wine sales. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, a proven ability to achieve sales targets, and a genuine enthusiasm for educating and engaging with visitors.

Hospitality & Customer Service

Greet visitors within three seconds as they enter the winery
Provide education on the wines, wine region and share Frichette Story with every guest
Pour and serve wine by flight, glass, and bottle with perfect wine/bottle service
Maintain a clean tasting room, restroom, kitchen, bar area, patio
Wash and polish stemware
Prepare and serve cheese plates
Organize and re-stock bar area
Must be able to work in a team environment

Sales

Meet sales goal
Meet wine club sign-up goals

Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated sales skills and experience
Ability to hold engaging conversations in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of wine and wine service
Ability to provide customers with a stellar and unforgettable wine experience
Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and occasional events, normal hours are Noon - 6:00 PM
Must be able to lift 45 lbs
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have MAST card and Food Handlers Card
Must have a professional appearance and attitude
This is a seasonal part-time position with approximately 15 hours per week starting at $18 per hour + pooled tips. This position has potential for advancement within the company.
