Description Robert Half is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a healthcare organization based in Washington State. This role will focus heavily on CrowdStrike administration, Windows Server cleanup/migrations, and stabilizing ongoing network reliability issues. This is a 3-month contract with the potential to extend or convert, depending on performance and team needs. The work is onsite / hybrid, with flexibility based on project phases. Job Details Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours Duration: 3-month contract (extendable / contract-to-hire potential) Location: Onsite/hybrid. Job Responsibilities + Own CrowdStrike Falcon deployment, configuration, health validation, and remediation + Perform a full CrowdStrike environment assessment and present findings to leadership + Troubleshoot and correct sensor issues on servers and endpoints + Diagnose and fix CrowdStrike visibility issues relating to data, SharePoint, and servers + Support Windows Server discovery, assessment, cleanup, and transition planning + Safely decommission legacy Windows Server 2008 systems + Stabilize and troubleshoot GPO issues, DNS/DHCP problems, and authentication issues + Support environments running custom .NET and SQL-based workloads + Investigate and resolve network issues involving WiFi, VPN, QoS, and firewall/VPN performance + Identify root causes of issues with SonicWall firewall, Aruba WiFi, ClearPass, and ISP routers + Assist with file share migrations into SharePoint / OneDrive / Microsoft 365 + Support ongoing 365 ecosystem troubleshooting + Collaborate with internal IT leadership to prioritize infrastructure projects + Provide general systems administration and ticket resolution as needed Requirements Job Requirements 1. CrowdStrike (Highest Priority) + Hands-on ownership of Falcon deployment + Experience with sensor deployment, troubleshooting, and configuration + Ability to conduct an environment-wide EDR health assessment + Understanding of EDR / NDR fundamentals + Experience fixing visibility gaps on servers, SharePoint, or file systems 2. Windows Server Administration + Experience with Server 2008 → 2016/2019/2022 + Able to perform server discovery, assessment, and transition planning + Comfortable shutting down/retiring legacy 2008 servers + Knowledge of GPO cleanup, especially in environments where past changes caused outages + Experience supporting custom .NET and SQL server workloads 3. Networking Troubleshooting + SonicWall firewall + SSL VPN exposure + Aruba WiFi + ClearPass experience + Ability to diagnose issues such as: + Router interference + AP placement + WiFi calling problems + QoS misconfigurations + VPN inconsistencies + Ability to stabilize physical and logical network performance 4.
