Description of Primary
Duties Teach sections of introductory General Education courses of Sociology, Anthropology or Gerontology, submit grades by
due dates, and support department and university goals and mission. Employee reports to the Department Head.
Minimum
Acceptable Qualifications Per Course Faculty should possess a master's degree or the equivalent professional experience in a
field determined acceptable by the Dean.
Additional Qualifications A sample syllabus will be shared to
facilitate course preparation. Missouri State uses the learning management system Brightspace D2L. Applicant will be required to use
Brightspace D2L to post all course materials, assignments, and grades as well as to establish virtual office hours to meet with students as
needed.
