Job Description

The Applied Companies is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a leading medical device client, specializing in cutting-edge endoscopes and light optics. In this Temp-to-Hire role, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is consistent, detail oriented, and understands logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipment packages from delivery carriers
• Ensure outbound shipments are successfully picked up and all inventory is properly tracked
• Print various required documents and label each outgoing shipment (dozens each week)
• Coordinate with freight carriers to troubleshoot pickups and deliveries
• Share shipping documentation timely with other teams (QA and accounting) to ensure smooth operations
• Communicate effectively with other teams and escalate issues in a timely manner
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent ( required )
• Attention to detail, organized, and consistent
• Familiarity with shipping and logistics process
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with warehousing and inventory operations
