Job Description

Client is looking for an Application System Engineer to join our team and provide technical solutions for complex systems. You must be able to communicate with managers, peers, and customers in a team environment to achieve results. Knowledge of agile scrum methodology, system analysis, and design, relational databases (preferably SQL Server), and web development (preferably .NET C# and SharePoint).

• Hands-on involvement in full-stack development preferably in .NET, C#, EF, MVC, SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2019, and ASP.NET Core. Knowledge of ASP.NET and SharePoint is required.
• Work with users to gather business requirements and define software solutions.
• Analyze and design software solutions that utilize existing and new technologies, programming techniques, and methods.
• Create and maintain project plans and track complex projects through project phases for enhancing existing applications and the development of new applications.
• Manage and coordinate the team's activities with users, provide reporting and presentations as needed.
• Interact with other stakeholders, collect business requirements, design specifications, recommend solutions, modify existing systems, provide production support for users, and other matters as required.
• Upgrade and/or re-write legacy systems

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum two years of full-time experience in designing and developing software applications plus a bachelor's degree in computer science/computer engineering.
• Three years of full-time experience in designing, developing, analyzing, supporting and implementing complex software systems.

Desired Qualifications:

• Expert level skills in ASP.NET and SQL Server development.
• Strong object-oriented design skills with knowledge/usage of Design patterns.
• Experience working with RDBMS, preferably SQL Server.
• Experience with SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2019
• Experience as a SharePoint Developer with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
• Experience with .Net, MS Graph and SharePoint Framework (SPFX)
• Understands SharePoint Online Site Collection Administration, Modern pages, configuration, security permissions, and customization
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Mastering the core aspects of ASP.NET framework, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, Web services and ASP.NET Core.
• Work experience with developing web applications.
• Work experience with VB or C# for web application development.
• Work experience with Git/GitHub.
