Create compelling, memorable characters that captivate players from the first encounter.
Write all types of text: from documentation to in-game content, including loglines, synopses, drafts, flowcharts, comics, character profiles, dialogue styles, tutorials, and UI texts.
Design engaging story scenes with a focus on direction and cinematic presentation.
Collaborate with other departments—game designers, technical designers, developers, artists, and animators—to ensure a seamless integration of narrative into the game.
Participate in the planning with art-department to align visuals with the story.
Incorporate feedback effectively, iterating on narrative content as needed.
Review game builds, analyze outcomes, and make necessary script adjustments to enhance the storytelling experience.
Experience: At least 3 years in game development as a Narrative Designer or Game Designer.
Storytelling Mastery: Deep knowledge of story structure, non-linear narratives, and verbal/non-verbal storytelling techniques.
Interactive Storytelling: Experience creating branching dialogues and innovative narrative systems.
Creative Vision: A solid grasp of what makes video game storytelling unique, coupled with the ability to invent creative, non-verbal ways to deliver impactful narrative moments.
Writing Skills: Strong dramatic writing abilities in English, capable of creating emotionally resonant content.
Team Player: Comfortable collaborating in a fluid and dynamic team environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
Documentation: Skilled at writing clear and effective documentation to organize complex narrative structures.
Iterative Mindset: Thrives in an iterative development process, with a willingness to refine ideas based on input and results.

Education: Background in Narrative Design, Game Design, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field (e.g., literature, screenwriting, dramaturgy, psychology).
Dramaturgy Expertise: A strong understanding of the principles of drama, character development, and scene construction.
Media Knowledge: Well-read and experienced with a wide range of games and media to draw creative inspiration from.
Dialogue Proficiency: Ability to write dialogue across different tones and styles.
Analytical Thinking: Capable of working with large volumes of information, identifying key points, analyzing issues, and offering practical solutions.
Tools Expertise: Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Miro) and narrative design tools (e.g., Articy:Draft, Twine, Ink).
Systems Design: Experience designing narrative tools, dialogue systems, and storytelling mechanics.
Language Skills: Advanced level of English + Ukrainian (or Russian) .
