Janitorial/ Office Cleaning

Report to: Janitorial Supervisor/ Janitorial Manager and Human Resources Department

Location: RSW Airport: 11000 Terminal Access Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33913

Pay Types:

Paid weekly.

Tentative Start Date: Immediately

POSITION STATUS:

• This position is  Part-Time.

• Sunday and Monday
• 7am -3.30pm
• Tuesday and Wednesday
• 6:30pm -2:30am

• Follow all safety rules.
• May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on Supervisor/Manager needs or airlines activity.
• Working efficiently to avoid loss of time and resources.
• Promoting a positive work ethic and environment
• Must have 5 years of Janitorial cleaning experience List of General Responsibilities:

• Duties can and will fluctuate pending airport/terminal location and client.
• Completing shift using proper protocols and safety procedures
• Clean workspace, common areas and offices
• Able to use Heavy weight style B floor Machine and carpet extractor or detailing machine.
• Disinfesting surfaces
• Thoroughly dust all horizontal surfaces, including desktops, files, windowsills, chairs, tables, pictures, and all manner of furnishing
• Damp wipes all horizontal surfaces to remove coffee rings, spillage and dust telephones.
• Cleaning break room refrigerator, appliances, and countertops
• Servicing restrooms, including restocking toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and air fresheners
• Sweeping, Mopping and Buff floors as needed
• Vacuum carpeted areas and furniture.
• Dusting and polish various surfaces
• Restock offices and kitchens as needed.
• Exercise safe procedures with diluting cleaning chemicals
• Escorting vendors, students, and contractors
• Courier and distribution of items varied from catered food, merchandise, and furniture.
• Refilling of the Med-kit stations in the proper assigned office and rooms
• Replacement and disposal of trash bags in the properly assigned offices and rooms, employ all trash receptacles, and replace liners as needed. Remove trash to a collection point.
• Dispensing of disinfectant spray using of fog machine
• Remain alert and aware of the surroundings.
• Demonstrates ability to work with others and interact appropriately.
• Relates information regarding events or situations that may affect operations to supervisor.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transportation is not available.
• Willingness to work inclement weather.
• Must possess a professional image and attitude.
• Must follow company guidelines on uniform standards.
• Must be flexible to work scheduled and non-scheduled hours as required.

Must become familiar with and retain knowledge of company forms required for this position.

MUST HAVES FOR THIS POSITION:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to attain an airport security badge, allowing you access to all areas in which Flightline operates.
• Proficient English and Spanish is a Plus.
• Safety conscious work approach is required.
• Able to follow airline-specific guidelines with tasks pertaining to the cleaning process.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week.
