ATARID Specialist Recruiters to the Property and Asset Management Industry has been retained by our Client, a developer and manager of affordable housing, who is hiring:
Senior Regional Manager - Oversee the comprehensive management of multifamily properties, including administrative and asset management functions. Ensure properties' visual and operational standards are met, handles maintenance and revenue collection, and staff training. Accountable for budget management, financial reporting, site operations, and adherence to regulatory guidelines
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the operations of a portfolio of affordable housing properties (HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, RD)
-Supervise, manage and direct a team of property managers and site level staff
-Recruit, mentor, coach, train and support teams
-Ensure properties are being maintained to company standards
-Ensure compliance with all regulatory local and state programs
-Review all property budgets prior to implementation
-Proactively manage budget by reviewing property expenses
-Perform random audits to ensure properties are maintaining regulatory compliance
-Ensure residents' concerns are addressed in a timely manner
-Evaluate property data to create strategic plans to optimize performance and maximize occupancy
-Routinely inspect properties within portfolio
-Ensure staff are providing good customer service to residents
-Oversee rent collections and occupancy levels.
-Establish and ensure adherence of preventative maintenance schedule for the portfolio
Qualifications:
-10+ years' experience managing affordable housing properties/operations including supervision of property management staff.
-Current working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, RD, local City and State programs and legislation.
-Skilled in creating and managing budgets, financial reporting and compliance.
-COS, HCCP, CPO certifications preferred.
-Persuasive leadership style with demonstrated ability to lead and coach Managers.
-Professional, with ability to deal with changing priorities.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Valid Driver's License.
Location: Great Falls, MT - Hybrid role.
Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 commensurate with experience, plus Benefits Package.
