Position Summary: Our clients are seeking a talented Private Chef to join their team. This is a very unique opportunity. The Chef will have a passion for creating exceptional meals using the freshest, highest quality ingredients, and will be able to work independently and manage all aspects of the households culinary needs. Generally, Monday to Friday, daytime hours cooking in an off-site kitchen. Occasionally assisting with events hosted in the familys homes. Based in Wellington, FL with summer travel to Cape Cod, MA, where housing is provided. Responsibilities: Prepare meals according to the principals preferences and dietary needs Create seasonal menus and work closely with the culinary team to plan meals for special occasions, holidays, and events Produce small-batch meals using a widevariety of seasonal recipes, all made from scratch and hand-delivered to the household several times weekly Cater dinner parties and special events and be able to elevate fine dining at the highest level Procure the highest quality and freshest ingredients with a focus on seasonal produce Ensure proper food storage and handling Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and immaculate kitchen environment Provide exceptional service, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all mealtimes Qualifications: Previous experience as a private chef in a private residence or in a high-end hospitality environment Culinary school degree or certificate from an accredited institution Flexible to travel to various locations when needed Available for work during the holidays as requested Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and dietary restrictions Excellent planning, organizational, and computer skills Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of the households culinary needs Flexible to the needs of the family and their schedules Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with other household staff Professional and discreet demeanor Fluent English Possess a valid drivers license and legal to work in the USA Schedule: Generally, Monday to Friday, daytime hours with the flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends as requested. Travel to Cape Cod in the summer is a requirement.
