Occupational Therapist (OT) – School Based.

South Holland, IL (near Chicago / Calumet City).
$63–$66 per hour | 2025–2026 School Year.

AB Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based assignment in South Holland, Illinois for the 2025–2026 school year. This role follows the academic district calendar and offers consistent school hours.

Position Details:

• Location: South Holland, IL.
• Schedule: 32.5 hours/week.
• Contract: Full 2025–2026 school year.
• Setting: School-based. (Caseload and placement discussed prior to offer to best match your experience).

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students using standardized assessments and clinical observation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional skills and school participation.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document services and progress in accordance with district and state requirements.
• Support safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Illinois Occupational Therapy License (OTR/L).
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between school buildings as needed.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements.
