This position involves caring for director's child (2 year old boy) during the work day while director is actively working. Nanny would be responsible for all aspects of caring for the child when on duty with him. Nanny will live in cabin with other counselors and campers so they have the opportunity to have a full camp experience as well. The nanny is responsible for: Caring for, working with, and playing with the children of director Staff, ranging from babies to 6 years old Integrating the children into the regular camp program when possible (i.e. swim lessons, crafts, Special Events, etc.) Coordinating with the director Staff families regarding schedules, pick-up and drop-off times, etc. All Nannies can expect to learn valuable lessons in child care, working with parents, and interpersonal skills. All Nannies work under the direction of full-time Camp Runoia Staff, as well as alongside the parents of the children. Through their service, Nannies play a crucial role in the experience of campers at Camp Runoia. Finally, all Nannies get to work in an exciting, kid-oriented, progressive environment alongside other talented and passionate staff. The hours are long and the work is challenging, but the job is very rewarding! Nannies will live in a cabin with other counselors and campers so they will be able to fully immerse themselves in the full camp experience!
