## **About the Role**

We are seeking a **Medical Records Processing Specialist** to ensure accurate preparation, verification, and assignment of medical records requests for our law firm clients. You will handle detailed document review, verify authorization requirements, and ensure each request is complete before moving forward in the retrieval workflow.

This is a **mid-level documentation role** ideal for individuals with background in medical records, legal support, insurance claims, or healthcare administration. Accuracy, communication, and structured workflow management are essential to succeeding in this position.

## **Key Responsibilities**

### **Provider Verification & Intake Review**

* Analyze case information to determine all relevant healthcare providers involved.
* Research additional billing entities, facilities, or treating providers as needed.
* Record all verified provider details into the admin platform accurately.

### **Records Request Preparation**

* Review and correct ROI (Release of Information) forms, resolving errors before submission.
* Compile complete records request packets, ensuring inclusion of all required documents.
* Maintain high-quality standards by performing final checks on each packet.
* Follow provider-specific guidelines to prevent rejections or delays.

### **Assignment & Workflow Coordination**

* Assign completed request packets to the right records retrieval team members.
* Use workload data to ensure balanced and timely processing.
* Track intake volumes and escalate bottlenecks when necessary.

### **Case Issue Resolution**

* Escalate provider-specific nuances (e.g., unique forms, additional requirements) to the CSM.
* Contact law firm case managers when clarifications or missing information are needed.
* Document all escalations and communications clearly and accurately.

## **What You Bring**

* Hands-on experience in medical records retrieval, healthcare documentation, or legal records processing.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free work.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
* Competency using Adobe Acrobat and PDF management tools.
* Ability to work independently while managing high-volume, detail-oriented tasks.
