Internship Description Mechanical Engineering Intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions to real world challenges and learn design and manufacturing activities in a fast-paced, creative, avionics and defense manufacturing company. Responsibilities may include research, design, development, and testing of electronics packaging of interface panels products and systems for aerospace and ground applications as well as creating or improving technical processes within the company. The mechanical engineering intern is responsible for providing support and assistance to technical teams to ensure design goals are met.
Project Description The intern will help develop and implement design standards for Korry electronics impacting the design activities for Mechanical Engineers in the Utility Control Systems Business Unit. These may include but are not limited to:
- A standard for estimating product cost and weight at various stages of product development
- A standard for optical and lighting analysis and measurement processes
The intern will also support design activities including troubleshooting legacy mechanical design issues, recommending solutions and implementing engineering change orders to resolve them in a timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities - Participate on project teams to support new product design and sustaining activities
- Research and establish new processes for the engineering team to follow in development activities
- Work closely with Senior Engineering Staff to define solutions to challenging engineering projects and author design change activities
- Interface with hardware design, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve time-sensitive problems
Requirements - You must be actively working towards your Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Availability to work onsite in Everett, 5 days per week
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a US Person

Pay Range: Please note the typical hiring range is $30.00 - $35.00. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
