Position Description

Job Purpose


This position supports the HR Director and HR Manager by providing data analysis, reporting, and insights to drive strategic HR initiatives. The HR Analyst will manage HR systems, perform statistical analysis, and evaluate trends to inform decisions. Additionally, this role will assist with benefit administration, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with regulations. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, combined with a thorough understanding of core HR functions, are essential.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties and other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Collaborates in the development and implementation of HR analytics initiatives to support organizational objectives.
  • Collects, organizes, and analyzes HR data to provide actionable insights and reports on key metrics such as turnover, engagement, and compensation trends.
  • Develops and maintains dashboards and tools for HR metrics reporting and workforce planning.
  • Conducts data audits to ensure integrity and accuracy of HR systems and records.
  • Provides analytical support for talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assists in designing and executing training programs to improve HR systems usage and adoption.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws through regular analysis of policies and practices.
  • Supports Affirmative Action compliance by analyzing workforce data and providing necessary reports.
  • Conducts research and benchmarking to suggest improvements to HR processes and policies.
  • Oversees maintenance and optimization of HRIS for data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
  • Coordinates and manages special projects, including data-driven initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Assists in benefit administration, including enrollment tracking, data reconciliation, and vendor reporting.
  • Handles administrative tasks related to analytics, including maintaining privacy and confidentiality of data.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, including data analysis, reporting, and benefit administration responsibilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State labor laws and HR policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large data sets and present findings effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification preferred
