Job Title: Equipment Cleaner

Job Description:

Must have basic proficiency in the English language to comply with verbal and written directions signs policies and procedures.

The Equipment Cleaner is responsible for cleaning production equipment and associated general work areas safely and thoroughly. Theyre also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect to ensure the quality and quantity of products produced.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleans wash sanitizes stores and organizes equipment to include but not limited to machines conveyors hoppers carts vessels filters utensils processing equipment change parts and facilities components
• Ensures that residual material is removed equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for use and that any wear is repaired or reported so it can be repaired
• Rinses washes equipment thoroughly to remove soap residue and sanitizes as required by SOP
• Stores clean equipment in a manner that prevents contamination
• Labels cleaned equipment with identification that indicates the equipment is clean and the expiration of the clean status

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Military experience is a plus
• Physical ability to repetitively lift stand climb bend etc. within a manufacturing environment

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred

SKILLS:

• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
