Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Drupal Developer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Drupal on Acquia Cloud and integrating headless CMS with React/Python applications via APIs.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Drupal Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.

  • Customize and extend Drupal modules and themes to meet specific business requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, content creators, and backend developers to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Ensure code quality and security compliance through regular testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Drupal functionality, performance, and integration.

  • Stay updated with the latest Drupal developments and contribute to continuous improvement of the platform.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Drupal development, including headless CMS implementations.

  • Proven experience working with Acquia Cloud and integrating Drupal with front-end frameworks like React via APIs.

  • Strong understanding of Drupal content architecture, editorial workflows, and performance optimization in cloud environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
