Job Description

Midsouth Steel, a leader in the fabrication and erection of structural and miscellaneous steel has an immediate need for a full-time Contract Administrator.  This position will be a salaried 40 hours a week on site position from our headquarters in College Park.  

Job Duties will entail:

• Managing all activities related to monthly billing of assigned contracts.
• Submit pay applications to general contractors per contractual specifications.
• Collect lower-tier lien wavers from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage communications with customers including phone calls and emails.
• Enroll MSI in required insurance programs and assist subcontractors in their enrollment as needed.
• Manage submission of insurance requirements and weekly certified payroll.
• Assist subcontractors in their submission of required payroll reports.

Required skills (or ability to gain those skills quickly:

• Adobe PDF editing
• Microsoft Office
• Written and oral Communication
• Email/phone etiquette
• Attention to detail.
• Note taking.
• Experience with Vista/Viewpoint is a plus.
