Construction Trades Staffing is seeking several skilled Commercial roofers to join our contractors' team.

The Commercial Roofer will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems. This includes working with materials such as metal, rubber, thermoplastic, and more.

Our ideal candidate has experience in commercial roofing , and is comfortable working at heights, and is committed to safety protocols. The goal is to ensure that all roofing projects are completed efficiently, on-time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect roofs for damage and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Install different types of roofing systems such as single-ply, foam, metal, or modified.
• Measure and cut roofing materials to ensure a proper fit.
• Work with roofing materials including asphalt, wood, steel, and thermoplastic.
• Apply layers of hot asphalt or tar.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Use hand and power tools to repair and replace roofs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a roofing apprenticeship program.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial roofing, construction, or carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to use power tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds of materials and tools.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, climb, lift, and climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Sure footing and ability to work at multi-story heights.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of roofing systems
• Can work independently and as part of a team environment.
