Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a reliable cleaning person to clean our child care center 3 times per week. Tuesday and Thursday evenings after 5:00pm (hours flexible) and a third day of your choice (Friday night or on Saturday/Sunday at any time). The cleaning hours are generally 3.5-4 hours on Tuesday & Thursday and 5-6 hours on the weekend with additional monthly/quarterly cleaning duties and added hours when needed for deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, windows, kitchen cabinets, etc. We have 4 classrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, and an office that need cleaning. All cleaning supplies and cleaning tools are supplied onsite and are to be maintained by the cleaning person.

Duties

Bathrooms
?Scrub in toilet bowl, the tank, and the base of the toilet
?Wash the sink, faucet, and the tiles above sink
?Wash mirror
?Sweep and wash floor (mop or sponge scrub)
?Wash heat register near floor by toilet (1x/week)
?Wash walls when necessary
Eating areas
?Pick up area rugs prior to mopping
?Sweep and wash floor with mop and floor cleaner, scrub where necessary
?Wash heat register near floor below windows once/month
?Wash windows once every two months **(last Saturday of the month)
?Wash walls quarterly
Main rooms & nap rooms (3)
?Pick up toys, pillows, or other small items if necessary, then vacuum
?Dust nap room windowsills once/month**
?De-cobweb ceilings once/month in all areas 
?Wash windows once every other month** 
?Wash walls quarterly*
Kitchen
?Place garbage can, stool, and laundry basket in other room and out of the way
?Sweep and mop (scrub where necessary)
?Wash lower cabinet doors once/month and upper doors quarterly
?De-cobweb ceiling once/month
?Wash walls once every other month
?Clean inside of fridge (shelves and inside door and bins) e/o week
Office
?Dust windowsills once/month
?De-cobweb once/month
?Pick up area rugs and shake dirt outside, then place up off the floor 
?Sweep and mop (scrub when necessary) floor
?Wash windows once every other month
