ABOUT THE ROLE

To manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.

• Manage all monetary exchanges in the restaurant by taking orders and ringing up transactions
• Serve as a liaison between the customer, the managerial staff and the kitchen staff
• Keep the front area of the restaurant clean and well stocked
• Greet all customers politely when they approach the register
• Records customer orders, transfer orders to the kitchen to ensure their preparation, and monitor orders to ensure their prompt delivery
• Keep the counter and dining area neat and restock napkins, straws, lids, and other supplies when needed
• Use DOH checklist at the beginning of each shift to ensure that everything is in compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

• A dedicated, detail-oriented, team player with the ability to work independently
• Some previous cashier or cash handling position, plus the physical ability to perform job duties
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
• A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute assignments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds
• Must be able to work on your feet as well as stationary for at least 12 hours during events
• Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts

COMPENSATION

• The hourly rate for this role is $16
