I.K. Hofmann Staffing Services is currently recruiting for a capacity optimizer. for a top airline in the Atlanta Airport Area. The capacity optimizer is responsible for the evaluation if individual bookings under operational and economic conditions. He/she makes individual shipment decisions to optimize the onload with specifications given by the Revenue Manager. In case of individual booking requests the capacity optimizer assists and gives potential alternatives to sales colleagues.
He/she must answer bookings queues in a timely manner.
The capacity optimizer. prepares the capacity of single flight events for the flight transfers to the load planning department.
General Responsibilities:
Evaluates individual booking queues under consideration of operational economic and quality specifications.
Where required calculates and adjusts the gross volume for bookings
Reacts appropriately to capacity changes
Blocks space and weight for certain bookings
Optimizes individual flights under observance of C2K regulations
Completes and transfers flights to load planning department under consideration of shipment ranking in case of planned or unplanned overbooking.
Flags shipments accepted to compensate potential no shows as “CAD”
Improves the load factor by accepting freight onto earlier flights
Where required contacts the Revenue Manager to adjust the overbooking parameters.
Identifies and communicates process barriers within RM processes to his regional process manager.
Assists in removal of barriers within his/her work environment.
Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors.
Essential functions:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access invoices, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a computer, calculator, copier, and printer.

Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.
Requirements:
Education: GED/High School desired Experience
Rotating shift- 1 month of shift: 8 to 430 ;10am to 7pm; 12pm to 9pm
Operation Monday to Saturday
7am to 9pm
