**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. In this essential role, you will provide timely and accurate financial data that supports data-driven decision-making and ensures alignment with our management and reporting processes. This position offers opportunities for growth and development as we pursue our ambitious objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform data entry and uploads for expenses and cost of goods sold.
- Review and manage the import process for credit card transactions.
- Verify and queue accounts payable bills for processing.
- Assist in the monthly review of balances and item mapping for accuracy.
- Support the Controller with various tasks as needed.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while utilizing your time effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams to support our scalability goals.
- Align reporting and communication with our business framework.
- Engage professionally with all internal and external contacts.
**Qualifications:**
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 3 years in accounting roles, including accounts payable experience.
- Proficient in accounting software with at least 3 years of experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Experience working in privately held companies with 50+ employees.
- Background in a rapidly growing company is preferred.
**Education:**
- Associate's degree or equivalent coursework in accounting.
**Skills & Abilities:**
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
- Familiarity with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) industry (IT or cybersecurity).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong technical skills and computer proficiency.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Diligent, thorough, and able to follow directions.
