Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a large, respected professional services firm in Virginia Beach that is searching for an Accounts Payable Associate .

This role will be temporary/contract to start, but has potential to go permanent if both sides agree it’s a good fit!

On Site/Hybrid : Ideally 5 days a week on site (would consider 3-4 days on site and 1-2 days remote if absolutely necessary).

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Full cycle accounts payable processing (matching, batching, coding, check run)
• High volume AP – 200+ invoices
• Working with purchase orders
• Receiving approvals from managers and budgets
• Processing invoices
• Working with vendors to correct issues

Candidate should have the following background:

• 3+ years of experience processing Accounts Payable, ideally with a $250 million+ revenue company
• Experience processing a high volume of 200+ invoices
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Netsuite, etc.)
• Strong Excel experience (data entry, formulas, etc.)
• Ability to take direction from leadership and apply strategy to completing tasks
• “Can do” attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to start work within the next 2 weeks

Pay: 30-33/hr. some flexibility if needed, but could go temp to perm which is where the salary range would be
