Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking an  Account Payables Specialist to add to our team at the headquarters office in the Clear Lake area, near NASA.  We are a growing business in the crane rental industry and are looking for strong team players that are self-motivated to succeed!

Preference will be given to candidates based in the Clear Lake area.

Job Duties

• Research aging invoices and disputes and bring to a successful resolution.
• Follow-up on matching exceptions, missing receipts, and price variances.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures  
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling vendor statements.
• Perform additional account payable functions as requested/directed by management.
• Coordinate vendor payments on a weekly or monthly basis or as needed.

Essential Qualities

• 2 years of account payable experience preferred
• Experience with e-Emphasys and Microsoft Dynamics SL preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphases on Excel
• Strong attention to detail
